Last Thursday, ChillOut Travel Store in Oslo welcomed a full house of curious minds and creative hands for a community night with Peak Design – centered around design, Fair Trade, and good conversation.
Together with the great team at ChillOut and our partners at NORR Agency, we were proud to help host a relaxed and meaningful evening for Oslo’s photo, travel and outdoor community. From journalists to trekkers to backpackers – the event brought together a wide range of people, where it was clear from their engagement that they care deeply about the gear they use and the impact those tools have.
Guests were invited to explore Peak Design’s latest products, learn more about the design philosophy behind them, and connect with like-minded enthusiasts. The atmosphere was open and welcoming, with non-alcoholic drinks and raw, plant-based snacks from Oslo Raw setting the tone for a thoughtful and casual gathering.

Fair Trade in focus
A highlight of the evening was a short talk by Dimitri Galle, who takes care of Peak Design’s Business Dev & Partnerships new Verticals EMEA. He shared how Peak Design works with Fair Trade-certified factories and designs with people and planet in mind. We were impressed with our audience when the presentation was followed by real conversations – not about marketing buzzwords, but about how product choices can reflect values and long-term thinking.
The night wrapped with a friendly raffle, where attendees had the chance to take home some much-appreciated Peak Design gear.
Big thanks to everyone who showed up, asked questions, stayed for conversations – and to ChillOut for helping create the kind of space where these things can happen.
