– Strategy for Sustainability and Reduced Material Consumption
Oslo Municipality aims to facilitate sustainable and reduced material consumption in line with its vision of becoming a greener, more inclusive, and innovative city for everyone. This strategy focuses on shifting consumer behavior from purchasing new items to prioritizing practices such as maintaining, sharing, swapping, upgrading, renewing, and repairing existing goods.
To support the development of this initiative, my company was commissioned by Oslo’s Agency for Urban Environment (Bymiljøetaten) to contribute to the project. Our role included conducting focus group interviews across various districts (bydeler) of Oslo, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing supplementary documentation to strengthen the report.
This collaboration highlights our commitment to sustainability-focused communication and our ability to provide research support for meaningful policy-making.
